Mineral Industries Pvt. Ltd. are pioneers of Soapstone Mining and
one of the Largest producers of Talc Lumps & Powder in Rajasthan.
It is an ISO
9001 & ISO
14001 company. Its philosophy is to carry out all related
activities by scientific mining and implementing environment management
programmes. Our mines employ about 300 workmen out of which more than
95% are tribals who are engaged in supervising, skilled and unskilled
category's in mining, mineral sorting and processing operations. Proper waste dump management practices are followed at our mines. The over burden is dumped by constructing retaining walls making terraces. All old dump which are not active now have already been reclaimed by afforestation. Over 9000 plants of different species are surviving on there dumps which shows the commitment of management for environment protection. Some photographs of afforestation activities are given here. The Hydro geological and water balance studies have been done in all the mining areas of the company. |
